The USB External Smart Card Reader can be used to support eSigning within the Individual and Unit Issue/Return processes of the DPAS Warehouse Management module. This device allows the Member to use their CAC to electronically sign for their issues and returns. It includes support for USB and all relevant security standards; the interface is CCID and PS/SC as well as EMV2000 Level 1 compliant. The EMV certification recommends the reader especially for applications with banking or credit cards, e.g. E-Banking or e-Payment.
Update your SmartCardReader USB drivers for model SCR3310.SCM's SCR3310 and SCR3310v2.0 are small and ergonomic USB smart card readers, with backside mounting holes. The readers are ISO 7816 compliant, and can be used for cards in ID 1 card format.

SCR331 and SCR531 users note that only readers that have CCID firmware are supported. Readers that have firmware Rev 2.0 and above are CCID.
